This very rare E-Series (factory 2x4-barrel carburation) car has been owned by a local family since 1963 when they purchased it from its original owner. The factory high-performance engine is coupled to a 3-speed transmission with factory overdrive. The car was also ordered with both factory hard and convertible tops, a signal-seeking "Town and Country" radio and back-up lights (it may sound silly, but this makes quite a difference in the appearance of the rear of the car.) Body and both tops are white while the interior is red--just as the car was ordered--and the car underwent a full body-off-chassis restoration, completed in 1988 by Hibernia Auto Restoration. It remains in spectacular condition today and has been driven just 4,792 miles since that restoration. The original twin carburator set-up has been removed and carefully stored with a single 4-barrel carburator in place for easy maintenance.
