For 1993 Chevrolet introduced the new fourth generation Camaro. It was chosen for the honor of being the pace car for the 1993 Indianapolis 500 race. In commemoration 645 Pace Car replicas were built for sale to the public. 125 of them were assigned to the Indianapolis 500 race for parade and other official duties. The one we have for sale at Holt Auto Sales is official number 84 and is documented. These special edition Pace Cars sport a unique Black and White paint scheme with multi-colored ribbon body strips. This outstanding example of the 1993 Camaro limited edition Pace Car that we have for sale is in totally original condition. Even though it has been driven only 28,550 actual miles it looks looks as if was hardly used as it is in superb condition showing nothing other than as new appearance. Powered by a 5.7 liter 275hp Chevrolet V8 engine mated to a four speed automatic transmission. Fully equipped with power disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, Delco Bose stereo radio with CD, tilt steering column, cruise control, leather covered steering wheel, power mirrors both sides, power windows, power rear hatch, heated rear glass and removable glass T-tops. Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires are mounted on aluminum and White 17 wheels. Being number 84 of 125 Pace Cars used during the Indianapolis 500 race festivities, all the graphics and emblems that were placed on this vehicle remain today making this a completely unique collectible Camaro. The condition of this automobile is outstanding showing nothing that would indicate this is a 16 year old car.
