Fully restored from the frame up in 2003, this Land Rover spent most of its earlier life on a farm on the East Coast. Since making its way out to California in 2008, practical modifications have been made that make this Landy a pleasure to drive on the open road. Notable upgrades include parabolic springs for a smoother ride, high ratio transfer case with Series 3 gearbox (so no double clutching), double Webber carburetor for faster acceleration and top speed (65 on freeway), new tires, shocks and brakes, rear seat belts, unlocking front hubs, electronic ignition and new battery. No expense has been spared in making this Land Rover the nicest we've seen in a long time. Everything functions beautifully.
