Rare 161ci inline Lightning 6 cylinder engine (only 1,779 produced), 3 speed manual with 4th an automatic overdrive. Mileage thought to be correct. Options include: heater, turn signals. Purchased in 1999. Currently titled in South Carolina. All original 6 volt car. Added: tachometer, power windshield washer, 12 volt inverter, and radio. Garage kept at all times. Complete proper engine (complete list of work & parts see image) & transmission rebuild (250 miles since rebuilt on both), new OEM reproduction wiring harness. Entire underside redone. Jeepster repainted prior to my ownership with original colors. Missing original oil bath air filter when purchased. Mechanically everything works except fuel gauge (gauge needs rebuilt), and spare tire doesn’t hold air. All necessary adjustments, and fluid changes have been performed on a regular basis since ownership with replaced parts to include: fuel tank, exhaust system (except: muffler, and header), carburetor, ignition switch, all light bulbs, clutch, pressure plate, shocks, rebuilt vacuum wiper system, fuel/vacuum pump, water pump, battery, master cylinder, brake lines, left front wheel cylinder, speedometer cable, voltage regulator, rebuilt heater, rebuilt radio, vacuum plumbing, and many more parts replaced or rebuilt. Convertible top in great shape with no tears or evident wear. Driven at least once a week.
