1962 Corvette VIN# 20867S106262 Frame off restoration. Over $100,000 spent. Matching #'s 327/ 340 hp engine. Casting number 3782870. Date code L151. Engine pad number 2106262 F0125RE. 4 speed manual transmission dated 10/5/61. 3.55:1 positraction rear end. Nut and bolt restoration with approximately 3,000 miles since restoration. Entire drive line was rebuilt. Front and back suspension, brakes and lines, fuel tank and lines, cooling system, electrical system have all been replaced or restored. All the chrome under the hood could easily be removed to bring the car back to factory specifications. It looks so well done that we decided to leave it. Show quality engine compartment. Runs and drives great. Black base/ clear coat paint. Body was walnut shell blasted back to original glass and then a high end paint applied. Excellent body with body bonding strips intact. All weather stripping was replaced, including windshield rubbers. All stainless was polished. All chrome was re-chromed. Frame was powder coated, as was most metal under the hood. Show quality rust free under carriage. Tastefully done custom two tone black and red interior. Carpet , seats, door panels and dash pad were all replaced. Restored gauges and housing. Corvette aftermarket radio. If you didn't like the two tone interior, it would be very easy to convert it back to a factory black interior. New black canvas soft top. New top weather stripping.
